PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable and high-quality image recorder without image unevenness caused by vibration, etc. SOLUTION: The image recorder is constituted so that a sheet film transported by a subscanning unit is scanned and exposed thought a main scanning unit including a light beam means. A supporting member for fitting the main subscanning unit in which the main scanning unit and the subscanning unit are integrated in a detachable manner, to the image recorder main body, is arranged at the position to be almost equal to or higher than that of the center of gravity of the main subscanning unit.
