PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope which is simple in constitution, but can give a large focusing range. SOLUTION: The microscope is provided with a group of objective lenses 17 having a first objective lens 15 and a second objective lens 16 arranged each other in series in a body tube 12, and it is constituted so that an imaging point is produced by the group of objective lenses 17 between the second objective lens 16 and an ocular lens 13. The second objective lenses 16 are arranged in a pair of right and left lenses as to be positioned close to the ocular lens 13 of the first objective lens 15. The position of the first objective lens 15 is fixed, and the second objective lens 16 can be positioned away from or come closer to the first objective lens 15. The interval varys each other between the paired right and left lenses of the second objective lens 16 accompanying that the second objective lens 16 is positioned away from or comes closer to the first objective lens 15.
