PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organism control method for medical, dental or biochemical uses such as the proliferation, activation, culture, sterilization of organism cells or tissues, and for implant materials, cement materials, or the like used for protein adsorption, bone filling, dentistry, or the like, and to obtain a material for the organism control method. SOLUTION: The organism control method comprises carrying out the control, such as proliferation, reduction, activation or inactivation, of an organism, such as cells, bacteria, viruses or fungi, on the N-surface side or P-surface side of a ceramic subjected to a polarization treatment. The material for the organism control method comprises a material for selectively adsorbing protein, or the like, an implant material, a cement material, or the like, for bone filling, dentistry, or the like. |
