The plaster fiber plate has recesses on all edges at right-angles to the plane of the plate. The recesses can be rectangular (1), rounded (2), triangular (3) or otherwise shaped. The depth and opening width of the recesses is 3 to 6 mm for plate thicknesses of 5 to 10 mm and 5 to 12 mm for plate thicknesses of 10 to 25 mm. The distance between recesses is 5 to 30 mm, corresponding to the plate thickness. The plates can be evenly formed over their entire thickness or multi-layered.
