[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A method for producing an antibody or antibody-producing cell comprising the steps of inoculating a negative strand RNA viral vector carrying a nucleic acid which encodes a foreign polypeptide to be used as an antigen, a nucleic acid capable of producing the viral vector, a cell having the vector or the nucleic acid capable of producing the vector introduced therein or a lysate of the cell to a non-human animal and collecting the antibody or antibody-producing cell from the animal. The production of the antibody can be induced efficiently owing to the immunoactivation effect of the negative strand RNA viral vector and the high level expression of the antigenic polypeptide. The antibody produced by this method can be used in the research and development and in the clinical field.</p>
