A method for activating a particular function only in a mobile communication terminal is provided to be capable of activating a particular module only with a hot key or a particular button so that a particular additional function is used while a communication module is inactivated, thus a user can use an additional function of the terminal regardless of time and place. A controller confirms whether a power key is inputted(301). If not, the controller confirms whether the first hot key is inputted(303). If so, the controller activates a corresponding module of the first hot key(305). The controller confirms whether the second hot key is inputted while the module of the first hot key is activated(307). If so, the controller inactivates the module of the first hot key(309), and activates a corresponding module of the second hot key(311). |
