PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid polyelectrolyte which exhibits high strengths in thin-film formation, has a high ion conductivity at room temp. and at high temps., and is excellent in processibility by combining specific compds. to form a monomer compsn. having urethane bonds and contg. an oxyalkylene deriv. and polymerizing the compsn. SOLUTION: This monomer compd. for a solid polyelectrolyte is a mixture contg. or a reaction product obtd. from the following two compds.: a compd. represented by the formula (wherein R<1> is H or an alkyl; R<2> is a divalent org. chain provided when v is 1, then R<2> is dispensable; x and y are each an integer of 0-5; and z is 0 or 1-10 provided when x=0 and y=0, then z=0) and a compd. repersented by the formula: R<3> (-NCO)k (wherein R<3> is an at least monovalent org. group provided it may be linear, branched, or cyclic and may contain one or more atoms other than carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen; and k is an integer of 1 or higher). |
