PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid DC transmission facility in which a charge is unnecessary and which does not break an element with overcurrent and moreover in which proper charge voltage can be obtained. SOLUTION: A charge operation circuit 400 operates an attenuation factor from the resistance value R, reactance L, and capacitance C of the DC circuit, including DC transmission lines 30a and 30b, and operates the DC voltage at the end of a separate excitation type of converter, using the attenuation factor and the charge objective value of a DC capacitor. Moreover, the charge operation circuit 400 operates the control angle α1 of the separate excitation type of converter 1, using the AC voltage effective value supplied from an AC system to the separate excitation type of converter 1 and the obtained DC voltage. The DC capacitor 28 can be charged to the charge objective value Vcr, by starting the separate excitation type of converter 1 with the ignition pulses of this control angle 21. |
