METHOD FOR FEEDING OPTICAL FIBER UNIT INTO PIPE OF CBLE AND FEEDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feeding implement capable of leading in and inserting a fresh optical fiber unit into a pipe into which the optical fiber unit is already inserted in such a manner that the number of communication circuits can be largely increased by leading two pieces of the optical fiber units into one piece of the pipe in order to increase the number of wirings of the optical fiber units for the purpose of dealing with the increase in the demand for optical communication. SOLUTION: The feeding implement 11 is provided with a branch path 13. The feeding implement 11 is mounted at one end of the pipe P into which the optical fiber unit Y1 is already inserted. The front end of the existing optical fiber unit Y1 is inserted into the branch path 13 and is fixed to the branch path 13 in the state of applying prescribed tension thereon. The fresh existing optical fiber unit Y0 is fed into the pipe P through the optical fiber unit introducing path 14 of the feeding implement 11.
