PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a large amount of recording to be read quickly, to improve recording density of a disk substrate, and to simplify the structure by arbitrarily spectrally separating light and simultaneously producing a large number of focuses on the disk substrate. SOLUTION: When a light source 10 turned on, the light being covered by a reflection shielding film 8a, 8b is parallelly guided by a light guide 9, reaching a mirror 13 and changing its direction. The light with the direction so changed is converged by a micro-lens 12, so that the disk substrate 1 is irradiated, with the reflected light from a reflecting surface 5 detected by an optical sensor 14, and with a signal read out as a difference of light quantity between the reflection surface and an unreflecting surface 6. The light emitted from a light source 7 is spectroscoped through several light guides 12, producing a number of focuses on the disk substrate 1. As a result, a large amount of recording can be read out simultaneously. |
