PURPOSE:To generate reverberation close to a natural musical instrumention simple and less expensive constitution without using a reverberation adding device concerning a musical sound generation device to generate musical sound having reverberation. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a memory means 21 for storing a waveform data without reveberation as well as a waveform data having reverberation in relation to at least one specific musical sound component in plural musical sound components; a command means 1 for commanding a sound level to be sounded; a musical sound component signal generation means 11 for reading out the wave form data without the reverberation of the specific musical sound component from the memory means 21 in the case where a sound level of a specified compass is commanded by the command means 1 and reading out the waveform data having the reverberation of the specific musical sound component from the memory means 21 in the case where a sound level of other compasses is commanded, so as to generate a musical sound component signal of the specific musical sound component; and a musical sound signal generating means 6 for synthesizing the musical sound component signal of the specific musical sound component generated by the musical sound component signal means 11 with the musical sound component signal generated in accordance with a waveform data of a musical sound component other than the specific musical sound component so as to generate a musical sound signal. |
