PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate detecting device that can suppress image defects due to unevenness in density of a single color and suppress image defects due to unevenness in density of a mixed color that is generated through the suppression of unevenness in density of a single color.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus forming images by using color toners, and including: image forming means for outputting a uniform image using a primary color and secondary color; image measuring means for measuring spectral reflectance in the main scanning direction; storage means for storing the spectral reflectance of a primary solid image and recording medium; calculating means for obtaining the amount of change in the area ratio of toners in a line area on the basis of the spectral reflectances of the line area and a non-line area in the uniform image; and correction means for correcting the area ratio of the toners in the line area according to the amount of change in the area ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
