The present invention relates to a fuel cell and a fuel cell system. The fuel cell of the present invention suppresses obstacles in the circulation of reaction gas or exhaust gas. According to the present invention, the fuel cell includes: a laminate including, at least, a generation body formed by laminating a plurality of unit cells; and an end plate disposed at least one end in a lamination direction of the laminate. The laminate includes a manifold which at least penetrates the generation body in the lamination direction and allows the exhaust gas or the reaction gas for fuel cells to flow through. The end plate includes: a penetration hole communicatively connected to the manifold; and a plate part which is an interior of the penetration hole and is disposed, at an interval from the side of the end portion of the laminate, on a position corresponding to an outer circumference of an aperture of the manifold formed on a side of one end portion of the laminate. |
