Provided are a touch sensitive element and a display device including a touch sensitive element. The touch sensitive element includes: an electroactive layer made of an electroactive polymer; and at least one first electrode and at least one second electrode disposed only on one surface of the electroactive layer. The first electrode and the second electrode are made of transparent conductive materials. As the first electrode and the second electrode are disposed only on the one surface of the electroactive layer, the touch sensitive element has a reduced driving voltage and improved transmittance, in comparison with the case of the first electrode and the second electrode disposed on different surfaces of the electroactive layer.
