Provided is a multi-purpose CCTV monitoring system in which a monitoring function to photograph and monitor surroundings, and a fire detection function to detect fire are implemented in an integrated manner; thereby facilitating installation and operation. The present invention relates to a CCTV monitoring system comprising: a plurality of fire detection CCTV cameras (100) configured to photograph a specific location; and a monitor (M) connected to the CCTV cameras (100) over a network (N). Each of the CCTV cameras (100) comprise: a body (10) installed under a ceiling of the specific location; a camera unit (20) installed in the body (10) in an integrated manner, and configured to photograph the surroundings; first, second, and third infrared detection units (30, 40, 50) installed around the body (10), detecting infrared rays emitted in a corresponding direction, and generating respective temperature signals corresponding to the wavelengths of the infrared rays; a comparison unit (60) which compares the temperature signals generated by the respective first, second, and third infrared detection units (30, 40, 50); and a fire signal generation unit (70) which generates a fire signal when a difference between a temperature corresponding to one of the temperature signals compared by the comparison unit (60) and temperatures corresponding to other two temperature signals is equal to or greater than a preset comparison value, or when temperatures corresponding to the three temperature signals are equal to or greater than a preset absolute value. |
