According to a liquid crystal display device of the present invention, a second alignment layer is extended to the end of a second substrate, and a first alignment layer is not extended to the end of a first substrate. Therefore, the width of the first alignment layer is smaller than that of the second alignment layer. Accordingly, the liquid crystal display can solve a non-uniform brightness problem caused by a thickness difference of alignment layer patterns. |
