The present invention relates to an ignition capsule and a cigarette equipped with the same and, more specifically, to an ignition capsule which contains water and sodium peroxide and combusts by applying pressure to the same, and to a cigarette which needs no extra inflammable materials by including the ignition capsule. In addition, a cigarette including an ignition capsule in which an overcombustion prevention unit to prevent overcombustion of the ignition capsule is formed can be provided by the cigarette including an ignition capsule according to the present invention.
