PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting mechanism which can increase a lifting stroke while suppressing an increase in weight and cost, and can obtain excellent operability by suppressing a change of reaction force in a vertical direction, which is acted on a pedestal in the lifting range.SOLUTION: A lifting mechanism LM1 elevates and lowers a top board 2 as a pedestal with respect to a base 1. The base 1 and the top plate 2 are connected by a plurality of gas springs 5, 6 through an intermediate block 7. The movement of the intermediate block 7 in a horizontal direction is restricted, and the movement in a vertical direction is allowed. Each of the gas springs 5, 6 is arranged obliquely, and inclination angles θ1, θ2 can change in a direction closer to perpendicular as they expand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
