PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool a motor and a control part.SOLUTION: A hammer drill includes: a brushless motor 3; a centrifugal fan 55 which rotates as the brushless motor 3 is driven; a controller 7 for controlling the brushless motor 3; and a body housing 11 housing the brushless motor 3, the centrifugal fan 55, and the controller 7. A first air channel 93, in which air for cooling the brushless motor 3 flows as the centrifugal fan 55 rotates, and a second air channel 94 formed independently from the first air channel 93 and in which air for cooling the controller 7 flows as the centrifugal fan 55 rotates are formed in the body housing 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
