The present invention relates to a system for handling differential settlement which can prevent or restore differential settlement between basement floors of a building. According to the present invention, the system for handling differential settlement comprises: a differential settlement prevention unit installed on a basement floor of a building and disposed in a wall of the building; a lifting plate disposed on an upper end of the differential settlement prevention unit; and a contact plate disposed on an upper portion of the lifting plate, and connected to a cut portion of the wall. The differential settlement prevention unit lifts the cut portion by a hydraulic pressure if the cut portion is lowered by differential settlement of the building or the wall.
