The present invention relates to a device for user authentication and password input for smart equipment. The device for user authentication and password input for smart equipment comprises: a storage unit which stores image information to be used when a password for user authentication is input; a generation unit which generates a password input user interface for OTP graphics by combining at least two elements among the image stored in the storage unit, a color, and a sequence when a command to authenticate the user authentication is input; a display unit which displays the generated password input user interface for the OTP graphics; an input unit via which a pattern in which the individual elements of the displayed password input user interface for the OTP graphics are combined is input; and a control unit which controls each of the units. Accordingly, various types of patterns can be variously set, and thus security attributable to the patterns can be enhanced and double or triple security can be achieved by performing confidence setting based on the patterns. |
