PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high marking properties without fear about the vanishing of an image and the development of color in the white part through contact with a solvent such as plasticizer, oil or ethanol by using an antipyrine complex of zinc thiocyanate as a color developer and also adding salt containing aluminum beyond the solubility in water below a specific temperature level. SOLUTION: An antipyrine complex of zinc thiocyanate is used as a color developer and salt containing aluminum whose solubility for 100g of water at 25 deg.C or less is 0.5g or more, is added to a thermosensitive color developing layer or an undercoat layer. Consequently, the vanishing of an image and the color development of the white part do not occur, if the thermosensitive recording material comes into contact with a solvent such as plasticizer, oil or ethanol. In addition, the material shows outstanding marking properties. When the thermosensitive color developing layer is formed on a support, the antipyrine complex and the salt are preferably added to the thermosensitive color developing layer. On the other hand, if the undercoat is formed, the antipyrine complex and the salt are preferably added to the undercoat layer. When the aluminum is contained in the undercoat layer, it is possible to prevent blushing from occurring on the coating fluid by a heat-sensitive liquid and reduce texture fog. |
