摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrode active material with high capacity and excellent charge/discharge cycle by using lithium transition metal compound oxide with the specified intensity ratio of Raman bands in two specified area for positive electrode active material. SOLUTION: For the purpose of high oxidation/reduction potential, lithium ion release/storage allowable lithium transition metal compound oxide is used as positive electrode active material. The lithium transition metal compound oxide has the intensity ratio of a Raman band near 520-600cm<-1> to that near 450-510cm<-1> to be 0.70 or less. Specially, it is preferably 0.65 or less. The lithium transition metal compound oxide is Li1-x-a AxNi1- Y-b BYO2 (A: strontium or barium, B: transition metal element, X, Y: 0<X<=0.10, 0<Y<=0.30, (a), (b): -0.10<=a<=0.10, -0.15<=b<=0.15, X: the total mol number of strontium or barium and Y: the total mol number of others than Ni if B is at least two types of transition metal elements). In this way, high capacity and performance are provided.
