The dough shaped into strands by the parallel peripheral grooves on the moulding roller, is stripped by protrusions of a comb shaped stripper blade aligned with the grooves and transferred by the action of that blade onto transporter roller passing a cutter assembly on a rotary shaft the speed of which is variable and the blades of which pass approx. tangentially through the strands of dough. Relatively simple labour saving method of obtaining uniform length, uniformly trimmed prods. |
