<p>The invention concerns a device for continuously producing a strip (1) which undulates at least in regions and which consists of thin, laminar material which can expand at least in the transverse direction. The device comprises a guide bed (2) comprising grooves which run parallel or obliquely relative to one another and into which the material can be urged by means of holding-down devices (5). Downstream of the guide bed (2) are means which prevent deformation of the waves already formed. The invention further concerns a process for continuously producing a strip which undulates at least in regions. Finally, the invention concerns absorbent articles containing undulating strips.</p> |
