PURPOSE:To obtain copies edited as required by selecting an optional position of a manuscript while the manuscript is held on a panel. CONSTITUTION:When a munuscript 4 is set on a prescribed position between the supporting plates 5, 6 of a panel so that the data surface of the manuscript is contacted with the transparent surface supporting plate 5 and both the supporting plates are closed, the manuscript is held with proper pressure by the spring force of a clipper 7. Then the panel 2 holding the manuscript is piboted around a hinge 3 from the setting position at reading which is laid on the surface of the body 1 of the reader as shown by full lines to the standing position as shown by dot lines, so that the surface supporting plates 5 of the panel 2 can be easily observed from the operator and also can be easily touched. When the operator selects an optional position required for the edition of extraction copies, etc. by touching the position by his finger or the like while observing the data of the manuscript 4 through the transprarent surface supporting plate 5 composed of a digitalizer, the positional signal is inputted to a control part through a line 8. The manuscript can be read out by setting the panel on the reading position. |
