PURPOSE:To surely relax high frequency vibration and abrupt impact which are generated during vehicle running, by arranging, in parallel, a damper for damping dynamic vibration and a damper for supporting static load, and as well by arranging, in series thereto, an air spring member. CONSTITUTION:A dual-cylinder type damper 20 comprises a cylinder 22 housing therein a piston 21 provided with a damping valve 21, an outer cylinder 23, a piston rod 24, a base valve 25 and a bearing 26, and a suspension spring 29 is attached to the outer periphery of the damper 20 by means of upper and lower spring seats 17, 28. A slidable cylinder 34 connected to the piston rod 24 is disposed in a guide cylinder 33 secured to the side of a vehicle body 32, while the lower part of the damper 20 is secured to the shaft bearing part 31 of a wheel 30. In this arrangement, an air-bag 37 charged with high-pressure gas 37 is disposed in the upper part of the inside of the guide cylinder 33 so that the air-bag 37 is opposed to the slidable cylinder 34 with a protecting plate lid 39 being disposed therebetween. |
