<p>The firearm sight consists of a foresight (1) and a rear sight (4). The foresight is a vertical, notched, part and the rear sight is a thin rigid piece, projecting from the barrel. The line of sight (6a) is obtained by lining the top of the back sight in the notch. The back sight has a trapezoidal top and ends in a point. The foresight notch is a trapezium with its large base at the notch top. The small back sight base is smaller than the base of the notch to engage the latter in sighting.</p> |
