PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform the proper time for changing a photoreceptor by weighting a driving time of the photoreceptor and the AC application time of a charging means to measure the using situation of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The more a process speed is, the more the influence of the rotating speed of a drum and the application time of the primary AC high voltage on the life of the drum, so that each factor is weighted by the process speed. In the measurement, the total application time on the present process speed is taken out from the primary AC total application time memory means 14, and is memorized again in the primary AC total application time memory means 14, after the measuring time of a timer is addid thereto. On a main motor, the total rotation time on the present process speed is taken out from the drum total rotation time memory means 13, and is stored again in the drum total rotation time memory, after the measuring time of the timer is added thereto. By performing the weighting by the process speed, the life of the drum can be correctly judged. |
