PURPOSE:To provide the apparatus for cooling the rolled steels manufactured so that cooling irregularity is not generated, by equalizing the injecting conditions of cooling water around whole periphery of nozzles by forming a pressure diversion chamber so that static pressure difference is not generated in the injecting cooling water. CONSTITUTION:After the water supplied into a tank 3 is stored in a water distributing chamber 5 for a time 1 it is sent into respective pressure diversion chambers 6 regulating the flow rate through a passage 8 bored in a partition wall 4. Because respective chambers 6 are, in a dividing manner, formed with partition walls 7 so that the heads of nozzle 2 opening ports are equalized, static pressure difference is not generated in the cooling water injected from nozzles 2. Therefore, the cooling water can be injected under straightened uniform injecting conditions from whole periphery of nozzles 2. Then, rolled steels can be continuously cooled under the condition without cooling irregularity according to the fact that rolled steels like bar for tube, wire rod, round bar, etc. are passed through the inside of a header 9. |
