<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a printing system which can print an unprinted part in the previous printing by a simple operation when printing data is received from a server on a network and printing of the same printing data as the previous one is resumed. <P>SOLUTION: If an unprinted printing data part is present at the time of ending printing of the printing data, printing history information is printed to a recording paper of the last page at the printing ending time. At the time of resuming the printing, an image of the printing history information on the recording paper is read by a scanner part of a combination machine (F11). A printing history information analyzing part analyzes information for specifying the printing data, information which shows a transmission destination of the printing data, and information which shows the printing progress (F12). A control part makes a command transmitting part transmit a command for transmitting the previous printing data to a document server as the transmission destination of the printing data on the basis of contents analyzed by the printing history information analyzing part (F12), and makes a recording part print the part unprinted in the previous printing (F15). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
