PURPOSE:To facilitate position adjustment in a relatively narrow space on a supporting stage by providing a slant on each side adjacent to the surface stuck to the supporting stage. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor laser mount 1 has slants on its respective sides 1B, 1C, 1D and 1E adjacent to one surface 1A stuck on a supporting stage 3. When the mount 1 is stuck on the supporting stage 3, position adjustment of the mount 1 is performed on the supporting stage surface 3A in order to place the mount 1 on the accurate sticking position. Its position adjustment can be performed easily in a relatively narrow space in such a manner that one adjustment element 6 such as a micrometer head is pressed against the slant of each one of the four sides 1B, 1C, 1D and 1E and proper pushing pressures are applied to the four slants to give the amount 1 two-dimensional movement on the supporting stage surface 3A.
