Apparatus for crushing and mixing organic and inorganic materials, comprising a cylindrical and vertical vessel 1 traversed by a central shaft 3 which supports knives 14 on a plurality of levels. The vessel 1 has an upper opening and a lower opening which are in line with a conveyor belt 20 and is crossed right through by horizontal knives 19.
