Insulation-stripping pliers for stripping the insulation of flat strip cables (ribbon cables). In order to set the precise parallelity and the smallest separation between the clamping jaws as well as their position with respect to the adjacent cutting jaw, at least one of the clamping jaws is provided with an operating part whose height is adjustable with respect to the other clamping jaw and with respect to its operating part, at its two end regions independently of the associated clamping jaw. In order to set the mutual parallelity and the smallest mutual separation of the cutting jaws in the closed position, in each case one adjustable stop screw is provided in at least one of the cutting jaws, in its two end regions. |
