The device to be fixed onto a wall of a building and, more particularly, onto a roof, is of the type comprising a fixed frame (20) and connection and sealing means between this framework and the said wall. According to the invention, the device comprises a frame composed of a rigid framework (20) clad externally with metal sheets (33, 34, 35 and 36), of which the lower portion forms a passage (cut-out) whose two lateral sides (13 and 14) match the shape of the panels (1 and 3) of the wall, the upper side (12) in the direction of the slope of the wall is plane and located at a height corresponding to the bottom zones (5a) of the profile of the panels in order to be fixed beneath the latter, and the lower side (11) comprises a plane portion (19) at a height corresponding to the top zones of the profile of the panels in order to be fixed over the latter. The plane portion is extended by an edge (21) folded over downwards and cut away so as to match the profile of the panels (2), sealing means (18 and 23), made of a compressible material and preformed according to the said profile, being disposed between the roofing panels and the said lower (11) and upper (12) sides. <IMAGE>
