NEW MICROORGAMISM FOR DEGRADATION OF TOXIC COMPOUND

摘要

A method for breeding microorganisms containing multi-plasmid to degrade contaminants is presented. Thus, microorganism which can be used for naphthalene as a sole source of carbon is isolated from waste water and identified as Pseudomonas putida N3 (KCTC 8287 P). Pseudomonas putida CST3 (KCTC 8288P) containing TOL plasmid and CAM plasmid simultaneously is conjugated with KCTC 8287P strain to give a new strain Pseudomonas putida Conj 26 (KCTC 8289 P), which can degrade toluene, naphthalene, and camphor.
