摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain excellent electric and dynamic characteristics and a sufficient thickness by dipping a base in a solution having a specified amount of pyrrole and a supporting salt uniformly dissolved therein to form a polypyrrole film containing the ions of the supporting salt by an electrolytic polymerization, said electrolytic polymerization being conducted under the condition in which a pulse voltage is overlapped on a constant voltage. CONSTITUTION:When an electrode base is dipped in a solution in which 0.01-1mol/l of pyrrole and 0.01-1mol/l of a support salt are uniformly dissolved, and a polypyrrole film containing the ions of the support salt is formed on the base by electrolytic polymerization, the electrolytic polymerization is conducted under the condition in which a pulse voltage Vp is overlapped on a constant voltage Vc. In the electrolytic polymerization, the polypyrrole formed by the application of the pulse voltage is regularly oriented in the electrode vertical direction. The reason is that the cation of the pyrrole monomer under electrolytic polymerization on the electrode base is oriented vertically to the base by the high voltage pulse and polymerized as it is. Hence, excellent electric and dynamic characteristics and a sufficient thickness can be provided.
