PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently generate an address book by changing conversion candidates found by a KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI (Chinese character) converting means so that the output priority of a candidate corresponding to the kind of information set by an operation mode setting means becomes high. SOLUTION: A data conversion control part 20a of the address book processor 20 decides whether or not information is already inputted to an item related to an input object item when the input object item is selected and makes a KANA-KANJI conversion part 26 or zip code conversion control part 32 perform conversion based upon the information which is already inputted when it is decided that the information is already inputted. A KANA-KANJI converting operation mode setting part 20b sets an operation mode wherein the kind of information regarding an address book whose item should be inputted is specified according to the attributes (stored in a data buffer 22) of the input object item and the KANA-KANJI conversion part 26 performs KANJI conversion corresponding to the operation mode. |
