Depending on whether the reservoir 3 of a leaktight lighter is divided into two identical parts, including as regards the wick or wicks 8-9-14-13-10, lighters can be manufactured with one or two (or even several) flames of chosen and varied colours. This being since a glass fibre wick (to prevent it from burning like cotton or from soiling when burning the salts) is immersed in the alcohol of 3 or of the reservoirs and since one of the wicks (if there are at least two that is to say one per independent reservoir part) is situated facing a pyrophoric lighter, lighter flint and friction wheel, for preference. The alcohol used will contain colouring salts in solution, or borons. <IMAGE>
