PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit high shield performance of electromagnetic wave without sacrifice of the required function of an opening by a structure wherein multiple fine holes are made through a porous metal material and the opposite sides thereof communicate through bent paths. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic shield material is produced according to production steps (a)-(g). A sintered body 13 thus obtained forms a porous metal material having a cross-section of three-dimensional mesh structure as shown at (g) while being enlarged. Multiple fine holes are formed in the surface of the sintered body 13 and the majority thereof communicate with each other through bent paths 14. When it is employed as an electromagnetic wave shield material, the majority of fine holes opening to the surface side communicate with the majority of fine holes opening to the rear side. The air can be conducted through the sintered body 13 through a large number of fine holes on the surface communicating with the rear side of the sintered body 13. |
