PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition exhibiting remarkable herbicidal effect at a low rate of application without causing phytotoxicity to rice plant by mixing a triazole compound with a compound selected from naproanilide, simetryn, etc., and using the mixture as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by mixing (A) a triazole compound of formula I [R1 and R2 are lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or R1 and R2 together with bonded N form 4-6C azacycloalkane; A is group of formula II, formula III, formula IV, etc.; X is H, (hydroxyl- substituted) lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, etc.; m is 0, 1, 2 or 3; n is 0, 1 or 2] with (B) one or more kinds of compounds selected from naproanilide, MCPB, simetryn, dimethametryn, bifenox and dymron. |
