摘要 To increase the quality of paper, in paper mfg. electrical energy and active oscillating materials induce an oscillation in the paper material at the wet section of the papermaking machine. This reduces variations in the paper mass which could be formed by local fibre lumps. The active oscillating materials are pref. at the fourdrinier section of the papermaking machine, at a small gap from the fourdrinier, or in direct contact under it, or over it in the case of the double fourdrinier. The oscillating materials are incorporated in or at the stock inlet, and are activated at different oscillating amplitudes and different frequencies. The active materials can be activated for oscillation through another material for wear protection. ADVANTAGE - Designed esp. for printing papers, the method is not dependent on the speed of the papermaking machine, and the pulsed energy frequency can be varied to match the long fibre content without loss of fine materials.
