PURPOSE:To provide optical recording medium capable of recording, erasing and reproudcing on information with high speed and high density. CONSTITUTION:In the medium provided with phase transition type recording medium on the substrate having a groove for guiding laser beam, a shape of the groove for guiding is measured by using optical diffraction and a ratio h/w of depth of the groove h and width of the groove w is <=0.25, in the case of assuming the V shaped groove. |
