PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet imparting a sharp image having sufficient density and excellent in various fastnesses, especially, preservability, transfer resistance or the like in a thermal transfer method using a sublimable dye. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer image receiving sheet wherein a dye receiving layer is formed to at least one surface of a base film, a dye transfer accelerating layer composed of a compound represented by general formula A-[B-X-Y-Z]2 is provided to the surface of the dye receiving layer.
