PURPOSE:To enhance the printability of an aqueous ink by a method wherein at least one side of a base paper having a unit weight and Steckigt sizing degree within a specific range is coated with a pigment having a predetermined oil absorbing amount and a receptive film layer for a water-soluble, polymer adhesive and this coat is dried. CONSTITUTION:The base paper consisting of kraft pulp and having a unit weight within the range of 50-100g/m<2> with the reference weight of 64g/m<2> and a Steckigt sizing degree of at most 20 seconds is used. At least one side of this base paper is coated in an amount of 0.2-10g/m<2> per total solid content with a coating material containing as the main components a pigment having an oil-absorbing amount of 20-300ml/100g in an amount of 10-50wt.% per total solid content of a film layer and a water-soluble, high-molecular adhesive agent in an amount of 50-90wt.% per total solid content of the film layer and having a viscosity of 1-100 Pa.S for constituting an ink-receptive film layer and this coat is dried. In doing so, a good character of absorbing an aqueous ink and a clear printing can be obtained. |
