<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic tape cassette helical scan recorder performing a simple and correct magnetic tape feeding. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic tape cassette helical scan recorder 100 has magnetic tape twistingly feeding mechanisms 101, 102, which have one pair of multi- surface multi-curvature angular air bearing blocks 17, 18 for transferring a magnetic tape 103 arround an inclined rotary head scanner 15. Vacuum sucking walls 9, 10 positioning at both sides of the rotary head scanner 15 act as auxiliary roles setting the magnetic tape 103 from a tape cassette 1 arround the rotary head scanner 15. When the air bearing blocks 17, 18 complete tape twisting operations by these vacuum suckings, they automatically move to positions adjacent to the rotary head scanner 15.</p> |
