Curable compositions based on epoxy resins or a mixture of epoxy resins and polyisocyanates and containing at least one compound of formula I: <IMAGE> (1) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each independently of one another hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl or halogen, and R2 together with R3 and R5 together with R6 and R8 together with R9 may each also represent a fused benzene ring. The compositions have high reactivity and at the same time good storage stability.
