<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic toner for electrostatic charge image developing capable of stably forming a good picture from the first for a long time which is not changed under low-temp. and low-humidity conditions and furter under high-temp. and high-humidity conditions. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic toner contains a binder resin, the aromatic hydroxycarboxylate of any one of Fe, Zn, Al, Si, Bi or Ti and magnetic iron oxide. When the silicon element content of the magnetic iron oxide is controlled to 0.5-4wt.%, based on the iron element, and the iron element solubility of the magnetic iron oxide to 20wt.%, the ratio of the content B of the silicon element in the soln. to the total content A of silicon element in the magnetic iron oxide is adjusted to 44-84%, and the ratio of the content C of silicon element on the surface of magnetic iron oxide to the content A is controlled to 10-55%.</p> |
