PURPOSE:To provide a mold assembly with excellent working efficiency, with which no leakage of resin occurs, no wrinkle develops in skin material and sure end curling of the skin material is realized. CONSTITUTION:Between a fixed mold 1 and a movable mold 2, a mold assembly has slide cores 3A-3D consisting of a plurality of openable and closable members, by which an opening smaller than that of the recessed part 2 of a movable mold and, at the same time, allowing to pass the projected part 1a of a fixed mold therethrough at mold clamping and a skin material setting frame 4, which is provided between the fixed mold 1 and the slide cores 3A-3D. In order to prevent wrinkle from developing in skin material at the terminal part of a product, the provision of a pedestal part at the basic portion of the projected part 1a of the fixed mold is recommended. |
