PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control method in which discrete information on a battery to be charged is controlled by a computer so as to judge the life of the battery, to be charged, by a method wherein the battery to be charged is provided with individual identifying information, the identifying information on the battery, to be charged, which is mounted on, and attached to, a charger is read out and the information is added to charging information so as to be transmitted to the computer. SOLUTION: Individual identifying information 4 refers to identifying information which identifies a battery 3 to be charged, the manufacturing number of the battery to be charged is used, a serial number inside a system is used, and a label which is printed in the form of a bar code or the like is attached to the battery 3 to be charged. An identifying-information reader 5 is a device which reads out the bar code. Information which is transmitted by a line 6 is a charging voltage which is measured by a manufacturing-number serial-number charger on the basis of discrimination information 4 attached to the battery 3 to be charged. On the basis of the information which is transmitted from the line 6, a computer 1 registers the battery to be charged, it displays information on the registered battery to be charged, and it retrieves the information on the battery, to be charged, so as to control the battery to be charged. |
